Hi there drone lovers and cinematographers! This is a read for you all. We are going to talk about the expected release of the Dji Inspire 3, a new, smart, powerful, and technologically updated successor of the Dji Inspire 2 drone. Since 2016 Dji has not introduced a new version of its Inspire series and focused on its product line which includes smaller and multi-purpose drone series. Despite some rumors circulated in 2018, there is no release by the company so far and some people thought Dji has discontinued their Inspire series. But now, thanks to some detail leaks by drone geeks and companies and crashed prototypes of the Inspire 3 found, we are confident Inspire 3 is going to hit the market any time soon in the last quarter of 2022.
As we said that data was leaked about Inspire 3, one of the major leaks was a design sketch by a Twitter user named OsitaLV. The suspicions gone stronger when a prototype of Inspire 3 flown for a test flight did not land as planned and someone else had hands on that prototype. Who knows if it was done on purpose? Just saying. Then some other steps taken by the company literally stamped the rumors to be true. Dji sent an intimation to their major dealers across China at the start of 2022 to not expect the further supply of Inspire 2 after their stocks exhaust. All these factors are concreting the possibility of the release of a successor of Inspire 2. Now let’s talk about what cinematographers and drone enthusiasts expect in this new machine.

Inspire 3 is going to have a foldable design with a detachable camera module. Compatible with Zenmuse x9 gimbal which is currently been used on Ronin 8k cam. So with this update inspire 3 will be able to record 8k videos @ 50 fps, 6k @ 100fps, and 4k videos @ 200fps. It means much more detailed shots even from long distances and heights. OsitaLV has given quite a detailed description of Inspire 3. As per the details, inspire 3 might support RAW 12-bit and ProRes 4444XQ and 422HQ codecs means an overall enhancement in the image quality and definition. Another major upgrade expected will be RC plus control panel with a 7-inch screen with APAS pro, a smart pilot assistance system for an amusable and user-friendly experience for the pilot. As Inspire 3 is designed to film HD videos in difficult places, inspire 3 will be equipped with omnidirectional obstacle-sensing features that will hinder the drone from colliding with any obstacle in its way. The expected price of Inspire is going to be somewhere between $10,000 to $11500 because it’s a big boy toy. Please keep visiting and reading us for more latest and firsthand information.
