It’s been a while since Apple launched iPhone 14 and its already sold to millions of users across the globe. We wrote about the inside news regarding the design and features of the iPhone 14 in June 2022 which can be checked here and we can proudly say that almost all the predictions made came out to be true in September 2022 when iPhone 14 was launched. As we all know, tech giants like Apple have the idea that users get bored very easily and very soon. The next Apple iPhone which will be known as iPhone 15 is in line for launch in the last quarter of this year which is another six to seven months away. So to keep the users engaged and entertained throughout the year as well as to keep up with the sales targets, Apple came up with something different in the middle of the timeline of the launch of the iPhone 14 and iPhone 15. A new color, iPhone 14 Yellow! Apple did the same gimmick before when in the year 2021 they came up with iPhone 12 in purple color and a green/emerald green iPhone in 2022.
There are many logics shared behind the selection of the new color but the commonly discussed reason behind the iPhone 14 yellow seems to be the timing of the launch. It is spring season and the yellow color portrays the bloom season. There are a million shades of yellow but the one chosen to add to the color array of iPhone 14 is a very creamy sort of yellow, not very bright and catchy like a taxi but the yellow that soothes the eyes. Some bloggers are calling it pastel yellow and some are calling it canary yellow. Some Apple spies were expecting an orange iPhone 14 but now it is been told that the orange color is reserved for iPhone 15. Apple keeps the Pro models out of the midseason color updates and we have no idea why? Following the same pattern, only the basic model and the plus model have got the new yellow color. The rest of the iPhone 14 is the same as the one launched back in September 2022. The yellow iPhone comes with a durable ceramic shield front cover to safeguard the screen from scratches and breaking. The same Apple IOS 16, the same SOS satellite connectivity in case of no cellular service, crash detection, and a powerful A15 bionic chip. Apple claims they have made changes to the internal design for easy repair but it can only be confirmed when the first iPhone 14 yellow goes for a repair so we will have to wait. Another thing that is different this year is that Apple has not launched the iPhone SE like they did last year with the new color drop. It is been told that iPhone SE is not coming back but it will be replaced with something new in 2024 to fill the slot of the cheapest iPhone.

announced on the 7th of March and was made available for pre-order
from the 10th and is now globally available from the 14th.
